We arrived home yesterday evening, safe and sound. Vacation was fun, but it is sure good to be home! We had a wonderful week on the Isle of Palms and touring Historic Charleston and the surrounding areas. We visited
Patriot's Point,
Fort Sumter,
the SC Aquarium,
Boone Hall Plantation,
Whirlin' Waters Waterpark, and
Blackbeard's Pirate Cove. We took a really great
Civil War Walking Tour, where we found out all about Charleston's role in the War Between the States, and we also did a Ghost Hunt, which was not very scary, but still fun. We also had fun just hanging out with the family at the fabulous beach house that Aunt Kristy and Cynthia rented for us. Here are some pictures from our wonderful week.
